I was there for 5 months. I loved it! The mgr, Kathy was GREAT! Professional, efficient, fair & approachable. Keeps the riff raff out. Clean. Close to shops. Great location. Low-key and nondescript.
Love this place, outside of the busy part of town so its peaceful, walk across the street and you have the river right there great spot to fish and if you need a place to stay for a bit for any reason this is it.its affordable and Annette is a super amazing manager and takes care of her tenants and the place is safe and just a nice place to live if that's what you gotta do for a bit.
Incredibly awesome hotel. Very quiet and actually had a kitchen, The price was incredible, very affordable. Highly recommend staying here. We needed a place for a month before our apartment was ready. If we hadn't of signed a lease on our new place. I would have just stayed there. The manager Kathy was super nice and helpful. She always gave us superior service, and handled the only problem we had, just a leaking sink, very efficiently. We were worried when we called before we went there because of the 4th Street reputation. But Kathy assured us that none of the foolishness was allowed on her property and she dealt with any nonsense immediately. Thank you so much Kathy for making our stay there wonderful. You will be my first recommendation to any friends or family looking for a clean and safe place here in Reno.
Kathy is very accommodating and helpful. She works extremely hard to make sure that Old Forty West is a friendly and safe environment for all of us who live there. This was a temporary housing solution that was unexpected, but she is the one that makes it feel like home to us every day. I hope her owners know what a godsend she really is, because we all do. Thank you, Kathy!!
My mom lives here after her breakup. We both absolutely adore the room! Although we would get bug bites and led us going to the hospital. Other than that, Everythings great!
For it's price it is very nice...has a kitchen or kitchenette...manager does her best to make your stay as comfortable as possible and has a nice little garden starting
